Breast Health Nurse
FREE Clinical Breast Exams are performed by a Certified Breast Health Nurse Tuesdays and Thursdays at F.F. Thompson Hospital. These appointments may be scheduled in conjunction with a mammogram or independent of any other testing. The Breast Health Nurse will also teach a woman how to perform a self breast exam.

Breast Exams
Thompson's Breast Health Nurse is available for any questions or concerns that you may have regarding breast care. The Breast Health Nurse can provide information and literature on issues of breast health and breast cancer and is certified to provide clinical breast exams.
The Breast Health Nurse is not able to suggest a particular physician or course of treatment for your personal care, she can however help you to understand your physician's recommendations regarding your breast health. As a National Consortium of Breast Centers, Inc. certified Clinical Breast Examiner, Level III, these services are provided free of charge as a courtesy to all who receive health care via Thompson Health.
