Mary Clark Thompson Community Health Grants
Continuing a Legacy of Caring

In keeping with Mary Clark Thompson's spirit of community-minded philanthropy, the Thompson Foundation has established a Community Health Grants Program. This program enables the Foundation to directly invest in projects and organizations that care for us all.

Twice each year, in April and November, the Foundation will allocate funds among local organizations after reviewing submitted proposals. Based upon grant application, program plans and financial need, individual projects may receive grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 annually.

By providing Community Health Grants, the Thompson Foundation will:

• Enhance partnerships among local not-for-profit organizations
• Encourage projects that improve the health status of the community
• Assist start-up and ongoing health projects in need of funding
• Stimulate interest in community health projects

Mary Clark Thompson Grants are awarded on the following criteria:

• Benefit to the health status of the community
• Plan, goal and time frame
• Commitment to community partnering
• Alignment with Thompson Health mission

We look forward to your participation in our efforts to create caring partnerships in our community. For more information and an application, call (585) 396-6155 or click here to download the application (in Adobe Acrobat format).
